Ingredients
French Toast Mix:
8 ea Kings Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
4 Eggs
1 Cup Whole milk
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
1 Tsp Butter (softened)
Filling:
1 block cream cheese
pinch kosher salt
1 Tsp butter
1 Tsp vanilla
Toppings:
2 Tsp Cinnamon
4 Tbsp Granulated sugar
1/2 Cup Water
Instructions
- Cut the ends of the bread to make perfect squares, discard the edges.
- Whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla, butter and cinnamon in a boll.
- In the mean time, heat up a skillet with a small about of butter.
- Roll bread into batter then cook on both sides until golden brown
- Mix all of the ingredients for the filling
- Place a small slit on the side of the bread and pipe the filling in the center
- For the final glaze, place sugar and water into a sauté pan
- Bring to a boil and cook until sugar turns into a Carmel brown color (Careful not to burn your sugar!)
- Place one side of the French toast and let sit to harden! Then enjoy!
